On Independence Day, the organisations honoured in the series are brought together in Accra.

Many were founded within a few years of each other. Most have operated in the same city for decades. Almost none have ever shared a stage.

The gala closes the series and opens the archive: the films premiere, the book is presented, and the record is formally handed over.

A place in the room.

Participation includes a place at the national gala in Accra, among the institutions that built this country.
