Participate
For the organisations whose history is Ghana’s history.
The Builders honours a defined group of organisations whose work runs through Ghana’s seven decades. Participation places an institution inside the definitive filmed and printed record of the anniversary — alongside its peers, in front of national and international audiences, and permanently in the archive.
This is not advertising. It is documentary. The reputational value comes precisely from the fact that we, not our subjects, control the edit.
Participation is limited by design. The series can only carry a finite number of organisations properly, and we would rather do fewer well.
Five formats. One permanent record.
On film
Your organisation’s story, researched and filmed to broadcast standard, held permanently in the series archive.
On record
A long-form podcast conversation with the people who built and carried the institution — kept, transcribed and archived.
In print
A chapter in the commemorative volume — a record that will outlast every campaign your organisation runs this decade.
In the room
A place at the national gala in Accra, among the institutions that built this country.
In your own hands
A licensed cut of your film and stills for your own use — for inductions, anniversaries, investor materials and internal archive.
From first approach to first day of filming.
Nomination or approach
Organisations are identified by our research team, nominated by the public, or come to us directly.
Editorial assessment
We test the story: continuity of operation, documented history, national significance, and the availability of archive and living testimony.
Conversation
We meet leadership, explain the editorial terms in full, and establish what access would be required.
Agreement
Terms are confirmed in writing, including our editorial independence.
Production
Research, archive recovery, interviews, filming.
A film an organisation controls persuades no one. A documentary record it does not control carries real weight.
Participating organisations do not have approval over the final edit. This is what makes the series worth being in.
We establish this at the first meeting, not the last.

We will send it directly and follow up within three working days.
