Who we are
The Builders: Ghana at 70 is a documentary production based in Accra, Ghana. For any question about this notice, write to hello@thebuilders.org.gh.
What we collect
We collect only what you give us through the forms on this site: your name, organisation, role, email address, telephone number, sector, and the content of your message or nomination.
Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security and diagnostic purposes.
Why we use it
To send the prospectus and respond to enquiries about participation.
To assess nominations and build the research database that sits behind the series.
To send the newsletter, where you have asked for it. Every newsletter carries an unsubscribe link.
What we do not do
We do not sell your details, and we do not pass them to third parties for marketing. Information you send is seen by the production team and by the service providers who host this site and deliver our email.
How long we keep it
Enquiry and nomination records are kept for the life of the production and its archive, because the research database is itself part of the record we are building. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You may ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to hello@thebuilders.org.gh and we will respond within thirty days. This site is operated in Ghana and we handle personal data in line with the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843).
Cookies
This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. If we add analytics, this notice will be updated before it goes live.
